Do you want to add an FTP like file manager in your WordPress admin area? In this video, we’ll show you how to easily add an FTP like file manager in WordPress.

“WAIT” – Get Your Own WordPress Niche Website!

For this tutorial we will be using the plugin “File Manager” found here:

https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-file-manager/

With the plugin installed and activated you will see in your admin menu a section titled “WP File Manager” that you want to go to. When the page loads it will show you the file manager app with the files and folders for your WordPress site.

The toolbar matches a normal FTP client with the ability to preview, edit, upload, download, and delete files or folders on your site. Most of your files that you want to edit are in your wp-content folder for your plugin files, your uploaded media files and your theme files in their respective folders.
